The award winning Trials of Cato make a welcome return to Shrewsbury as part of the new tour showcasing their latest album. Deep in the wintry woods of Gog Magog Hill something stirred. New sounds tangled with woodsmoke as The Trials of Cato fused their usual flashing Celtic instrumental interplay with striking new compositions to bring us the follow up to their award-winning debut. Gog Magog is The Trials of Cato’s hugely anticipated second album, which was released in the winter of 2022.

Shortlisted for Female Artist of the Year 2020 by Fatea Magazine. Annie is half of the duo ‘David Ford & Annie Dressner’ which began after they went on tour in January, and subsequently recorded an album within 48 hours of the tour, that took 48 hours to write and recorded it in one 13 hour live session. The album is titled ’48 Hours with David Ford & Annie Dressner’ and reached #23 in ‘The Official Folk Albums Chart’.
