To get you warmed up, we’re welcoming back Danny McLoughlin as your MC for the evening. He will be introducing double headliners Josh Pugh and Dave Fulton.
Josh Pugh began performing in 2014 and soon started turning heads around his native midlands. Lockdown saw the comedian turn to his phone, recording relatable ‘bits’ that went viral and provided a tonic to many, including the Four Cheese Pizza and Piss Up In A Brewery.
He has since appeared on the likes of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Hypothetical and Mock The Week, while his show Sausage, Egg, Josh Pugh Chips & Beans was nominated for the Dave Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2022.
Originally from the United States, Dave Fulton is now based in London and has performed shows in 25 different countries. His relentless style of delivery and raw, honest material has made him a favourite Comedy Carnival headliner.
His TV credits include numerous appearances on Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Comedy Train International in Amsterdam, The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy), The World Comedy Tour filmed in Melbourne, Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two) and They Think It’s All Over (BBC One).
Danny McLoughlin has been performing stand-up for over a decade, and has established himself as one of the most talented and sought after comedians around. He has appeared on popular TV shows like The John Bishop Show and Dave’s One Night Stand, and has performed at some of the biggest comedy festivals in the UK.
