Daniel Koek is firmly established as one of music theatre’s leading men with a catalogue of roles to his name. He has performed to over 3 million people in five years and recently wowed audiences at the Queen’s Theatre in London’s West End, in the world famous and award winning LES MISERABLES where he played the role of Jean Valjean.
Recent years have seen him play Tony in the 50th Anniversary production of ‘West Side Story’ and Anatoly Sergievsky in Craig Revel Horwood’s award-winning production of ‘Chess’, which toured the UK and Italy. Daniel then went on to perform Lt Cable in the Lincoln Centre Production of ‘South Pacific’ that premiered at the Barbican in London and Jason in ‘Jason and the Argonauts’.
Daniel has also been spending time on his new album release ‘High’ which includes songs by Josh Groban, Adele and Billy Joel plus the classic ‘Bring Him Home’, a duet with Jonathan Ansell.
Daniel’s current show ‘My West End Story’, charting his journey from SA Opera’s Young Artist 2003 to one of Australia and the UK’s finest leading men, is an evening not to be missed.
