Host LAURA LEXX introduces double headliners MARLON DAVIS and TOM LUCY.
MARLON DAVIS is a bright young comedian, improviser and actor who embraces his work with energy and charm, embodying his characters and delivering his material with skilful observations. Marlon’s recent TV appearances include Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live (BBC3), The Steve K Amos Show (BBC2), The Five O’Clock Show (Channel 4). Marlon won FHM’s Stand-Up Hero and has supported Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre and Alan Carr on tour and is performing at clubs, arts centres and theatres all over the UK. AHIR SHAH Ahir Shah is an alternative comedian whose sharp, intellectual brand of stand-up blends poetic language, emotional frankness, and funny jokes. His solo hour at the Edinburgh Fringe was reviewed by Fest magazine as being “as thoughtful and compelling a show as you’re likely to come across”
TOM LUCY is one of the youngest professional comedians in the world. Having already established himself on the UK comedy circuit, he’s had a remarkable impact on the scene since his first gig at the tender age of 16. As well as performing all over the UK, Lucy has toured internationally in Ireland, Switzerland, Germany and a stint at the world famous Comedy Cellar in New York, USA.. Tom won the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award in 2016 at just 19 and 2017 has seen him supporting Jack Whitehall on his UK and Ireland arena tour.
LAURA LEXX is an actress, comedian, writer and Amused Moose Comedy Award finalist. Her credits include The Comedy Club: Machfest Live Special (BBC Radio 4 Extra) and co-hosting The Jason Manford Show (Absolute Radio). Laura was nominated for Best Compere at the 2016 and 2017 Chortle Awards. She was also shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2014 and reached the finals of the Paramount Student Comedy Award, Chortle Student Comedy Award and Funny Women competitions. Laura has also provided tour support for Russell Kane.
